Do what I do. Run local loads. Keeps me out of the house just enough for her to miss me.

I could here something running at the engine I thought it was the fuel pump. They tell me when you need to prime the engine you will hear that pump running. I thought it would put fuel into e fuel filter but I may be wrong on that. What does the lift pump do?

I'm Sitting at home for the week. @spyder7723 you're not taking that load from Jacksonville to TX? It wouldn't be so bad if it was a legal load.

I've been called on that load 3 times. For where it is going, and the rate, I wouldn't haul it if it was legal dimensions AND under a thousand pounds. It's a long way from south texas to a good reload.

I told the last one that called that be happy to haul it if only they would pay a buck a mile from the delivery back to Ricky's area in new Orleans. He wasn't receptive to that idea.

That reminds me. A tip for you new guys. Ricky in new Orleans is one of the best agents we got. Build a rep of the guy that gets the job done, on time every time, hassle and claim free, and that man will keep you loaded at a good profitable rate.
