It's worse than that. I went to school at CRE 11 years ago. There were 2 guys in my class ( both from the inner city) that simply could not get the pre trip down. They were always mumbling some rap song, so I said " Hey why don't you guys make the pre trip a rap?" Light came on. They actually did a toned down pre trip rap to the state inspector and passed.
For some reason I thought you started at crst and not cre. You survived that ordeal, I mean you are still driving after 11 years. Just curious did u get sucked into leasing a truck?
Yes leased right out of the gate. Right away I saw it wasn't very tenable as a solo. You could make like $500 week, but that's about, and I had a poor DM. But I will say CRE listened to my complaints, they gave me a new DM and dispatched me on team loads. I made excellent money, but couldn't keep that pace up. I got my 90 days in, turned the truck in, it was walk away then- don't know about now, and went to JBHUNT as a company driver. And it was so much better lol. I paid cash for school, like $1600 back then, so I walked away free and clear.Actually walked with a nice pocket full of change, cause I did team loads for almost 3 months lol.
