Hello. I know this is an old post but i was wanting to see if I could get an update on the choice board and see how everybody is, I live in Georgia. Originally they were going too put me on the container side which I really wasn't interested in. Was really looking hard at the freedom board. I talked too Erin and she basically said that it would be difficult for me to get home. Most of the time if I had to go home it would've been from out of Atlanta or Jacksonville which isn't a problem for me. Thanks in advance. Also with the freedom board how often do you guys run the ports? I may end up getting a Twic card if its consistent.
STAY AWAY FROM RRTS!!!!! I am speaking on actual firsthand knowledge. RRTS is not a place for anyone who has truck payments. I was let go from INTD and went to RRTS based on a lot of empty promises. Try Freymiller, I talked to one of their company guys and she grossed $88k and she had 2 months off due to illness and she has been there 3 years. So, I can only imagine how well the O/O's are doing.
The Freedom Board is awesome in theory and reality. I never went to a port when I was on the freedom board. Getting to Atlanta isn't / wasn't a problem. The freedom board is just that, Freedom! Freedom to choose where you go and you see everything, including rates, multi stop, and miles. There really is nothing you don't know about the load. Now, truth be told, they don't post all of their loads. Dedicated and refrigerated loads don't get posted.
So on the freedom board who gets priority? What time zone are the elogs on. Are they using qualcomm or peoplesnet? Do they have prepass?
They are using QC, prepass is $17/month and it is on pacific time zone. There is no such thing as priority on the freedom board, everyone has equal access 24/7. You see the loads as they are posted.
