I guess so! Lol About to lease on one of my other trucks too, so I agree it's a good place to call home!
Yesterday I had an agent call me about a load going to Cali from long island. His rate was way low but he said he could probably get it up a little. I did the math for what it would take for me to run out there & before I could give him my number he shoots back that he can go get about $400 more. That was still about $1000 less than I would run out there for (my number was way high) so I just told him I couldn't go for that. He politely said no problem have a good day. Moral of the story, all agents & my coordinator have been very nice & professional when I turn loads down. This is what you guys said would happen (I never doubted any of you) & it's what's happening.
Somebody will take it, and if they don't, the customer will bump up the price until they do. No big deal to the agent, it's the customer that needs the freight moved.
