    In southern IL, the location for longest duration, it is going to be only night time dark for about 2 minutes. Tell everyone on that Quail Call to relax! We have all seen night before. Hahaha

    They're saying the same thing in Idaho and wyoming. Longest duration. Darkest spot. 2 minutes.

    There is a great documentary about this from about 500 years ago. Check out Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto" lol they were ripping people's heart out of their live chests but the eclipse came and the prisoners were released.

    I live a few miles from the total eclipse in Oregon. Lock your gates, put the horses in the the barn and ready your guns. Let the ####show begin. What a bunch of #########.

    Nebraska has actually shut down for 5 days.

    Saw on as a kid in Washington. Nothing to ge t excited about. Would be funny to see rain clouds on that day. They are expecting 150k+ in Casper WY area the day after the state fair ends. This is gonna suck. Good luck finding parking in those areas.

    I looked at it as a kid too. Btw it does not turnt to night.

    My next home time is scheduled for the 20th in Denver, so I won't be in the 'total' zone. It will be close enough to see a good partial eclipse though.
    Hopefully it will be far enough from the madness.
