If you want a good zip tie ( ty wrap) you want the brand by Thomas Betts ((TB) the black ones with the metal tooth. White are not sun light resistant and don't work well that's the cold. This brand I used as an electrician for highway lightning and traffic signals where they were exposed to all seasons. They have various sizes available.
See; that's another example of why I keep coming back!!! No; not because it works if you work it. Because Mr. Walker just solved a problem for me - that I've had for over a year now. I keep a stainless fire extinguisher on my truck bed that has an air valve like a tire you pressurize with air. Antifreeze in winter, but, anyway, I lost one of the ball bungee from the factory bracket, and now I have a source to replace it. Real good tie info here, too. True; the ones with the metal teeth are the best.
The white ones are garbage. I don't even waste time with them. The black ones are UV resistant and a lot more flexible.
Why produce more garbage for the planet? Use boot laces to tie up your straps; you can use the boot laces over and over again for years.
Electrical supply.... notice most all have a weight rating or Strength rating, 50lbs. Carry a small set of side cutters with you!
Why not use a bungee? I hook one end to the rubrail, wrap it twice around my excess making sure to keep it around my tight strap and bring it back to the rubrail. Haven't had one come loose on me.
What the doodle who? I wonder what the thought process was when coming up with a name for that product?
