How does UPS Freight keep drivers???

The thing is most of the ltl is gonna over take us in pay before this contract is up.

After probation, I make 18 in my first year.
2nd year I make 20.
3rd year I make 23.
4th year I make 25.50.
Start of 5th year Im at 28.65.

And you still dont understand the two tier thing, sadly. Are you sure youre not more suited for a 1099 outfit out of chicago? Lol

That is top rate RIGHT NOW. It will change everytime there is a cost of living adjustment.
I'm guessing the raises are every August? If so every August top rate changes. For everyone.

So if you stayed with UPSF when you hit top rate, you woulda been at the $30+ rate.
It's no different with parcel. Our contract reads the same.

 

Only thing that doesn't change is your progression rates. That is fixed for the duration of the contract.

 

No, it's the current contract. Look at the years in the attached photographs. Through 2023.

Your hourly number are off.

 

Start is 17.70.. 45 days 18.00... 12 months 20.00... 24 months 23.00... 36 months 25.50...
48 months top rate.
