Yes the urea smells bad. But it unloads quicker than anything else I mess with about an hour for 26tons.

Are you blowing off feed stuff? There’s a Tyson feed plant next door to a place I deliver to. I only see belly dump grain haulers and some weird looking tanker trailers going in there.

Yes. A few places we go don’t even have a pit to dump regular grain trailers.

I love it! Beats the crap out of flatbed or bumping docks with reefer or dry van, IMO. What I really love is there’s no depending (aka waiting) for some forklift operator to get around to loading or unloading you. No dealing with rude, desk jockey, shipping clerks, etc...

Btw, is the passenger stack on your truck (579?) a dummy stack? We run 389s and got two new ones a few months ago. The passenger stack on them is just for looks.

My passenger side is hooked up, the driver side one has the elbow and everything but stops at a bracket on the frame.

Same thing with ours, only it’s the passenger side.

I know I'm going to feel like a big dummy for asking this once I hear the answer, but if pretty much all the for show stack is actually there anyway, why did they order them without voth just being hooked in? Does it cost that much more to bridge the space?

I’ve never asked anyone, but I’m assuming it must have something to do with backpressure and keeping all the sensors happy on the exhaust system.

    Makes sense.
