I don't know what they'd do if they found there was damage.

The place was 50 years old, an pretty much a leento to begin with.

They called the news, which means the cops probably said, " Can't help ya."

Obviously the truck did it. Can you prove it?

Doing the right thing only applies to drivers, not staff.

I don’t know about a new building but they could probably get additional damages for lost revenue because part of the structure is unusable. I’m sure CRE doesn’t want to comment because their lawyers are currently scrambling to figure out the lowest amount possible to make it go away.

That place was probably grandfathered as far as structure and location of that awning. Current regulations might limit them as to how much they can rebuild. They can probably only repair.

To the poster who says you didn't see him hit anything...you can see the angle of the pavilion, and you can see the truck turning and it's obvious the trailer didn't have enough of a gap to clear the corner of the pavilion.

Also, he stops...like he hit something!--he tries to shimmy around...

It's pretty obvious that his trailer hit the corner of the pavilion. There is probably damage and telltale yellow paint on the trailer.
