friend from my terminal sent me this text....seems like only looking for a new owner...but interesting read! Heniff, Superior Bulk Logistics and Freymiller hit the auction block - FreightWaves
Interesting. Be forewarned, a change of ownership often brings w/ it a change in company culture as the new owners typically have different goals and focus they want to assert. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. I've seen it first hand.
I can't find any other news reporting this, and I've heard denials from the company. I'd be nice to,see more proof, as I've heard Heniff is NOT for sale. I work for Superior and have not heard anything either
yeah, I know! I loaded up around Chicago and saw a Heniff guy pulling a Miller trailer and asked him. He told me the story about how Heniff bought them....that threw me for a loop as well!
well, I'll say, this IS a trucking news site(the link)...also, it did say it was only a beginning. The owner/founder of the company DID die about 2 years ago...so maybe 'exploring the options'? Also, notice how the very end, it said nobody replied for comment? You think they would, if they were very close to a deal or a deal did go down. It's always 'tight lipped' anyways, in the corporate world.
yeah, I believe it...however, one of my former companies got sold(only because owner just wanted to retire), and was bought by a bigger company. Things haven't changed MUCH there, from the people I know still there....same ol same ol...still treating the drivers like morons and keeping them extra broke! haha
yeah, personally, I don't see KAG buying up Superior. But who knows? They did buy Transport Service years back.
I think it’s fake news. Companies sometimes like to see what the market think they are worth. Only thing I heard was from Anonymous source saying word would come out Jan 20, 2020. I think it’s all bs but in this industry you never know
