I've heard mumbling Cummins is close to a clean air, non DEF, engine.

CAT is gonna take it deep in the ###. Soon, all construction equipment is going to be clean air compliant as well.

Bakerman, D.Tibbitt and bzinger Thank this.

I read somewhere maybe it was here that soon as that law is voted in then CAT will start producing truck engines again since it will use the same system.

Does no one here realize the trees clean our air for us? With that being said they NEED CO2 to survive and make oxygen.

I’m all for cleaning the air but if we don’t have CO2 in the air then we don’t have the trees that will produce O2...

California has always been the first state to set rules for emissions. Goes back to 1962 with the pcv.

Gooberment has always had a tattle tell policy. $10,000 fine.

Did you all complain this much when the Catalytic Convertor was introduced.

Most guys with it deleted aren't going to the dealership to get work done anyway so they'll just keep rolling by without a problem because Cali is pretty much the main state that check for this from what I hear

CAT's doing just fine with their SCR aftertreatment systems. Construction equipment has had to meet Tier 4 Final standards for a few years already.
