    Each time I go to Walmart I have to wait for at least 5 hrs to get any empty trailer out and they don't pay detention for that only live loads.

    Swift? CRE? Get your year in and move on. The stories of drivers taking it in the ### at Wal Mart are as numerous as the grains of sand in the ocean.

    Don't pull van. Flatbed or tanker and you'll get out sooner, for the most part...

    Find a company that pays decent detention. I had numerous occasions where I would get to the shipper, check in and go to bed. It would take them 10 hours load me. So I just did my break and got paid 180$ for that.
