I have a couple of questions for you drivers with CFI. 1. What are the pros and cons of PeopleNet vs. Qualcomm. 2. CFI's quarterly Safety Bonus is a range of.01 - .04 cpm. How do you obtain this bonus and what are the determining factors for what .cpm amount you will receive? 3. What, exactly are the other "safe driving, mileage, and more" performance-based bonuses CFI has? My recruiter was vague when I asked, twice.
1) Both have pluses and minuses...none were designed with the driver in mind. I do like taking the P-Net tablet into driver check in. Especially, if it's a long walk back to the truck. 2) Bonus level is based on how many miles you have with the company. To be eligible, you can come to a safety meeting in Jopmo, or recertify on Smith system, or do two on-line video courses per year. Oh, no accidents or tickets either. 3) Beats me...ask the recruiter to specify
Qualcom I used provided more info than CFI's PeopleNet, although i think that is intenional. I use the PeopleNet Android App instead of taking tablet in.
