Considering TMC

Was considering TMC....and I was wondering if any current drivers could tell me what kinda hometime I would be looking at living in Illinois? Not that big of a deal....just comparing companies across the board.

 

Whats the lease like at celadon?

 

TMC your home on weekends, i talked to couple drivers in Iowa. They drive around town in Des M.

 

Their recruiter described a week to me as crisscrossing around the general area for five days. Mostly, the same customers. I'm in central Ohio. I talked to a driver at Pilot one time, he had been there for one year and said they were right on track with the bulk of their promises. He said the weekend might move a little depending on loads and how much the individual driver wanted to make. Good Luck!

 

Where at in IL??

(Not that it should matter too terribly much...anywhere in the breadbasket is prime zone for weekly home time.)

I don't see that being a problem at all, being along I-55. You'll probably find yourself in and out of St Louis (Granite City, to be specific) and/or Chicago a lot, but yeah, weekly hometime shouldn't be a problem at all.*

*Shipper delays notwithstanding, of course.

 

I'm out of Ohio and was told weekly. I start training on the 6/13

 

Usually every weekend home fir evening leaving out Sunday afternoon or morning. Depends on loads and how your Friday morning goes . But it's pretty stable and good here at TMC
