I'm starting school soon and I wanted to know if anyone knows if you can walk away from a school that wants you to work for them after you graduate? I've been told that they can't make you stay after you get your cdl license. Is this true?
Might as well steal the paper outta their crapper an lay pipe on the teachers daughter before ya walk out on their dime!
You really think your gonna outsmart a mega Driver mill like CR England. Like no one before you has ever done this. Your a free man. Once you get that CDL you can quit. But you will pay them back for that school one way or another. They've got a whole department just to Harrass and collect from people that stiff them.
Getting free training from a motor carrier is like joining the Army. You get free CDL training that would cost you a bundle anywhere else but you have to give them 1 to 2 years of your life, sweet pea. Failure to live up to your end will land you in court...and trust me they WILL go after you. Not only will you reimburse the tuition but there will be court costs and legal fees you will pay as well. Considering this information will be shared with other carriers it will make it very difficult to obtain a driving job with anyone else. Nothing in life is free.Live up to your commmitments
Troll...maybe...maybe not. Had a guy pepper us on another forum about USA Truck's driving school. Told him to make sure USA Truck was what he wanted cause they required an 18 month contract and that he would have to reimburse the tuition if he quit early. He quit after 6 months and USA Truck went after him. He came back expecting sympathy from us. He got none because he was told upfront. He was outraged and left in a huff.
