Dart is an ok company. Spent 7 years there.. Just recently left to try out something different (cargill) with hopes of bigger settelments. Still to early to tell but looks promising so far
How are they with the "you need a sleep study because your neck is big" thing? Do they push it? Not make an issue out of it? Hmmm???
Sleep studies and the neck thing wasn't a requirement when I started. Sleep stidies and the size of the neck is a real new requirement.
26 cents a mile for a new driver? In 2003 I started at 30 cents per mile, and was making 34 cents after 3 months. They may not all be good companies, but most ones that I see hiring new drivers are around 30 cents a mile bare minimum. I dont think youre looking hard enough.
Some companies are forcing drivers to do sleep studies, but as of right now the DOT hasnt mandated anything.
I know the DOT hasn't made a rule...yet. I was wondering if Dart is one of those companies that force you to do a sleep study.
Finally some positive feedback thanks. Every company I've read about on here has negative feedback. I'm thinking 9f doing the lease purchase with Dart. I want to be an O/O and I will be successful and no one is going to tell me different. If the dispatcher I get is ####, then I'll fire his ### and ask for another one. I do have one question if anyone knows the answer.....I read on here a guy said he was sitting for 1-2 days waiting on a load....will Dart let you look up/find/book your own loads??
