my .02 az has a .08 BAC for a regular DL. and a .04 for a CDL. not sure if this is of any help or not.
My buddy had 3 DUI's, most recent being over 10 years ago and he had no problem getting a job along with being home every weekend.
You'll get hired with somebody but the crappy thing is, you'll feel trapped. They might sit you for two days somewhere. That's happened to me in the past but I spent the final day looking for a new job. They can really bend guys over that have less than stellar records. So in a way you are kind of sought after to hire but not for the best of reasons.
Lol I will love to have someone with me in the truck I am a christian I can take my time telling the person about my saver Jesus Just saying you know lol
MY OWI is more than 25 years old...and can be found by anyone, in any state, at any time TO THIS DAY. And though I have not been in trouble since then, this thing STILL haunts me and raises questions from perspective employers. We all make mistakes...but in THIS industry, an OWI, DUI, DWI, OMVI (or whatever your state decides to call it) is an extremely bad mistake to make. White Dog won't even sniff a cork and get behind the wheel.
I know in many departments if you blow exactly .08 its officer discretion whether he hits you with a DUI or not. A lot has to do with field so riety tests. I think a lot of people forget you can still get charged with DUI below that limit. That's just an automatic fail when you exceed it.
China not yet I dont have my CDL in hands. I am getting my CDL on sept 28 then I will start looking for a company. I sent a question to then yesterday but no one call me back yet.
if i were a trainer, and you were my student, i'd shoot you dead if you annoyed me with that jesus talk just saying.....
