Seriously, driver was fired on the spot. Happened at the Western Express terminal in Bloomington,California!
Because he’s a F’n idiot who has no business being behind the wheel of any motorized vehicle. If you F’up at Western Express of all places, your chances of truck driving are pretty much shot.
Truth to that. I remember when I was working there, one of the drivers was on some serious drugs at the Fontana terminal. He came out of his truck screaming someone got his load, but his truck and trailer was there lol. They searched his truck, found meth and other ish, and the rest is history after that.
When I worked there I went to pick up a driver in New Hampshire to help him pick up a Cascadia that was rebuilt at a Freightliner dealer in Connecticut-the previous driver of that truck had been involved in a rollover. While helping the new driver get his stuff settled into the “new truck” we found 6 pack case of Corona bottles in one of the side boxes-with only 3 bottles left but they were all empty. Now we know how the truck ended up being rebuilt!lol
Yup. Nashville didn’t give us the whole story on the layover,we were just told the truck had been rebuilt afterwards and the dealer left the invoice of the repairs in the truck-about $76,000 dollars and some change-and not much of the truck was original! It’s not often you see a Cascadia Evolution with a manual transmission either!
I am surprised they fired him. I had a truck problem and stopped at that exact location (before I got enough experience to get a real job) they were all drunk and smoking weed.
