Intermodal training

    Are there any intermodal companies that will train you to receive a CDL and work for them in California? Or if I receive my CDL independently with no experience that will hire me?
    Intermodal is the way I want to go but it seems I might have to start OTR. thanks in advance

    Tracy CA about an hour away from SF and 20 mins for the Stockton Port

    You might want to hold off on that until the recent actions taken by LA against several trucking companies in three ports for exploiting drivers are resolved.
