    Hi, I bought a 2013 prostar with a maxforce I would like to swap it out with detroit 12.7 is this doable? Thanks

    Anything is doable, cost may make it prohibitive, something you should have researched before your purchase.

    The owner operators that started with their first truck having a maxforce engine went bankrupt.

    On average, this is not possible. This is highly customized work that only a few specialty shops get into. At the dealer level, we don't touch this kind of work as it will far exceed the value of the truck. It is possible, it has been done, but also very rare to the point I can't even recommend any particular shop that does it.

    Used to they said a cat C13 would fit in place of maxxforce
