Just curious...when I was at USA a long time ago, we had Q/C....ok paperlogs and the old, 'beepy' Q/C! The company I'm with has elogs, Q/C....and I have a bunch of friends, at other companies on People Net. They ALL say that on People Net everything is mostly done on the phone. You only get so much on people net as opposed to Q/C, where you pretty much get EVERYTHING! My question is, when I was there, it was almost dang near IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone during the day or, especially NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS! haha How is that working out for you guys? And, this isn't making fun of you or poking at you...just wondering, since, like I said....it was almost dang near impossible to get in touch with ANYONE there...especially nights and weekends.

When I drove for USA Truck I tried to limit my use of the phone on nights and weekends. The reason for this simply was operations had very limited staffing at those times. When I did need to communicate with them most times I sent a Qualcomm message first. Actually I limited my use of the phone most of the time because I wanted a record of my communications with my FM. On more then one occasion my FM asked me via the phone to violate DOT hours of service rules. I always told them to send it via Qualcomm.

I was not attempting to answer your question. I have been gone from USA Truck for 4 years. I was just pointing out that there are no records (unless of course you tape record) of phone calls. The Qualcomm system does so. Its called cover your rear.
