Send you out with different vets for a couple weeks. Then they give you a couple smaller routes to see how you do. After that, full speed ahead

We did a simple backing test at the plant. Alley dock, and an offset. One guy completely turned the truck about inside out trying to alley dock and they still passed him. It was ridiculous. He said he hadn't driven in like 5 years, looked like never at all.

Once assigned I did like an hour road test w the boss man. We just drove around and shot the bull, no big deal at all. If you can at all drive you will be fine. The training or lack of us wacky, but that is trucking and the soda business. If they get busy you get thrown in early.

Id hate to be a vending product driver. I see them all the time (american food and vending). They always look miserable.

Is Pepsi Bottling Ventures a good company to work for? Anybody from here works at one down in NC?

Hey did you ever get on with fritolay in lynchburg? I was offered a job yesterday but I'm a little nervous being it was all virtual. Just feels weird not having made 1 on 1 contact with anyone. If you did get on I'd love to ask you some questions

@roadrunner 94 - Any suggestions for recent grads trying to land a CDL driving gig with FedX? Does fedX offer training for newbies or is there a third party company they hire thru?

Just get im the door, (handler, courier) whatever is available and you can move into whatever cdl jobs they have. No experience required but rarely the cdl jobs hit the street so that's why I say get in the door

What city are you in? If there is a cdl job posted to the street chances are you could get it pretty easy. Fedex is losing alot of people right now
