Reefer Download

Hello. I doing a load that requires reefer download every time a am done with it. Carrier charge a lot for it. Is there a way I can buy a tool to do it myself. Thanks

 

Charge the customer for the time/cost.

 

The tool is an annual subscription, it is called Lynx fleet monitor and cost $2000.

You build this into the charges to the customer.

could you explain why you need it?

 

. I have 2017 carrier 7500 x4. NEED TO DO REEFER DOWNLOAD ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK BUT CARRIER IN NEW YORK CHARGES 354 EACH.

 

I have Orbcom satellite system. $18.54/month plus $1000 for equipment and install labor. We'll with $$ because more and more customers require reefer monitoring. I simply download temps in PDF over the computer. You can have it set up so that a customer can track in real time.

Orbcomm-just Google them. Or talk to a reefer shop. There are other companies with satellite monitoring. I imagine all TK & Carrier dealers can set you up.
