I have a couple trucks with these scan gauges in them and I haven't seen it list the odometer reading when I scroll through the screen. I don't think it can tap into that info from the ecm.
Not by default. You might be able to get it using the X-Guage feature, but I doubt it because I don't think an odometer reading will fit in one of the four data display areas.
I used to use one, it was pretty comprehensive on what it read but it had no odometer on it. Your GPS until you sort the original will be your best bet I'm sure.
Ok guys I went out to one of my trucks and dug out the owners manual and it will display the total miles reported by the vehicles ecm. I did not know this so I learned something today. So to answer your question @2CAN it can display a odometer reading however, it depends on which port you have. The J1939 9 pin port will display the total miles where the J1708 6 pin port will not. Here is a pic of the two ports.
