I knew exactly what forum I was posting in. It is my opinion that they are NOT a bad company so I said it. Where in any of our posts did we say you should go sign up with them? All I did was voice my experience with them. Also, what does me posting in a different forum have to do with anything, did u just learn how to copy and paste? Your post really makes no sense.

My recent conversation with a Schneider recruiter indicated that starting pay for a recent grad (0 experience) on a dedicated account with 5 days out / 2 days home was 30.5 per mile. This particular account only ran in the states of IA, IL, IN, & MI. All loads originated from Cedar Falls, IA.

So you did it on purpose?:biggrin_25521: for shame, for shame.

So you came to the report a bad company here thread, to report that they are not a bad company? OK, what ever!:biggrin_25525:

Yes this is the complain, ##### and moan section of the forum.

And I promise I will not come over to the praise SNI section and say how bad they are because I have never worked for them. But I do know they lied their arses off to my friend who went to work for them 4 nine months out of French Camp CA. I am not jealous, but I am angry that I have to look at those ugly orange boxes going down the road each day.:biggrin_25525:

Rad, sorry to hear of your bad experience with Schneider, I found just the opposite, I got everything promised. Different regions maybe? As for the pay, all new drivers in my region starts out a little higher than you did, again maybe the location. Schneider does pay a little less than other companies, I think most training companies do. I myself am happy being with them, good mileage and have never had to follow up on any missing extras IE detention pay, short haul etc.

Ahhh, see you don't even know ######. You didn't work for them. It's the typical "my friend said....he said...he said" bulls##t with drivers like you. Why don't you talk about things you have actually EXPERIENCED instead of going off others stories???? You don't belong in this thread !

I imagine you were actually getting paid more than .23 a mile if you were working for Schneider. It might be listed under per diem. Per diem is tax exempt income for being away from home for 24 hours. When I was OTR, I would always take advantage of the per diem write off whether the Company I worked for set it up or not. So you might have been making .23 cents (taxable) a mile plus .7 cents a mile per diem (tax free). I would look at your pay stub more closely.
