Do service failures follow your career?

I have not had a service failure but was wondering if these follow your career. Can a future employer ask about performance and service failures?

    Things are not to shabby.
I'll update on my Pride thread when I get a few things straightened out.

    Nothing major just office drama.

They do follow your carreer.deffinately don't want to make a habit of getting too many.an employer may ask you about them.

I'm sorry, but WTH is a service failure? Did you oversleep and then take a 30 and then park and take a sauna treatment?

I think it's like late delivery/late pick up stuff like that. Well idk but it is part of your performance as a driver. Nobody wants to hired someone who's always late

Service failure = missed appointment for pickup or delivery. Throws off the finely tuned machinery of the manufacturing or warehousing process due to having to work around the hole in the schedule and then work you in when you show up, or do without (or store) the product/materials you were supposed to pick up/deliver while you wait for a new appointment. Facilities take a dim view of this and it affects the carrier's relationship with them (read: future loads) so they take a dim view too.

Crete gave me a service failure for my language for refusing to deliver a 200 mile load that I would have had to spend the night at the customer and unload during my 10 hour break.
I told her to mail it to my PO box so I would be sure and get it, I was going to frame it and hang it by my deer head.
Turns out it's electronic, no paper copy. I told her just to give me a hundred service failures as they were useless
