I second all the folks that say they save grocery bags. I'll plant one on the passenger seat and it goes in the bin each time I fuel up at the truckstop.

If it's night time all the trash goes straight out the window on to the road , it's kinda hard for a cop to see you when it's dark out . If im in california day or night a throw my #### out all over that state , toll roads get the junk too .

I just throw it out in front of one of the nicest well kept properties I see on the road. Bonus if they have a fence. That way it will pile up with everyone elses that does the same. Let the property owner worry about picking it up. After all they dare to have nice things in this day and age.

Litter. My parents raised me right and NOTHING goes out the window, and I relayed that to my kids. I was redeemed when I took my son's car for an oil change, and the back seat was full of wrappers. The single biggest problem about litter, is you can have all the garbage cans you want, but if nobody wants to empty them, like dirty restrooms, a lot of good they do, and with fast food joints, which contribute to like 90% of all litter, don't even have trash cans anymore. Whatever happened to those "This part of the highway cleaned by so and so? Probably gave up on that altogether. In a funny, yet sad note, once, in a parking lot, I saw some litter blowing in the wind, so I picked it up, you know what it was a wrapper for? A car wastebasket,,,:dontknow:
