YRC update

Does anyone have any updates on the YRC fiasco? I haven't heard anything since the announcement last week. Hearing nothing is nerve racking for anyone involved in this real robbery of the drivers by a handful of crooks that controlled the company funds.

 

I am not sure what you are expecting to hear. They laid off all the drivers and are insolvent.

 

Ummmmmm.....errrrrrr....aahhh.....

I didn't really think there was anything left....to update.

It's kinda like the very end of the movie, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"....:

Their stock has gone from under a dollar to almost $4.00 this morning.

Apollo Worldwide , a PE firm has expressed interest in buying it - maybe explains the stock price jump?

Is op doing ltl stuff, this is pretty vague but search you tube lots of yellow dirt on there. Mostly drivers crying about how screwed they got over after serving yellow for years. But thats the industry were in, these owners will say they care but in reality only care about there pockets

 

apply for a new job or file for unemployment... good luck driver cmon

 

That is what I was looking for. This possible financial buyout is something that you can not make any sense of but is interesting to see how it works out.
