They take it to a whole 'nother level in Mexico's Gay District. Yeah, you can poop on a sidewalk, join a gang or get herpes in any state but NO ONE does it better. When I see someone being loud and acting ridiculous around here I fully extend my arm and point to the south then tell them, "California's that way, you look lost." It doesn't matter how loud, obscene or profane they were up to that point. They fall silent, their jaws drop and then after a second or two they utter, "How did you know I was from California?" I reply, "People around here have more sense than to act like you do".. It's happened at least a half dozen times. I've never been wrong.
Don’t worry about it. They’ll mention it if there’s a problem. As they told Me, You don’t know what you don’t know. Lol.
To be clear, I don't have a problem with Mexico's Gay District. It's the PEOPLE that live there or used to. Specifically, how they act. They're like poor white trash only with ZERO self-awareness or humility. Constantly acting out with a sense of entitlement and outrage over every minor thing. They stick out like a turd in a punch bowl but the best part is that they have NO CLUE how repulsive their behavior is to everyone around them. I didn't see the words, "Greyhound", "unpaid" or "forcibly sodomized" anywhere in your OP, yet when most folks from the 49 states start a post about how they were done wrong by an employer at orientation you'll see at least one of those terms. Nah, you were flown in, put up at their expense, paid and asked to drive your truck (also paid) back to the land of leather pants and organic lube with paid motel rooms along the way. That was just TOO MUCH! You're ready to bail and b!tc# about it on a public forum. As others have already stated - maybe driving isn't for you.
Lol Mexico's Gay District? Sounds like you dislike more than just California lol...honestly, I got the impression that OP was inexperienced and didn't really understand how the while orientation thing works. I could be outta bounds with that assessment, but I don't know that he came across entitled. I thought maybe he expected things to go different that how it transpired.
Man you are pure ignorant and cliche lol. Like you're so clever to come up with the "hur hur you must be from California" You should get out more. California has all types of people and different counties not just L.A and San Francisco. When you live in a small town in the south of course your vision is limited. But alot of people only talk down on Cali because they can't afford to live there. Have you heard of newport beach? Laguna Beach? Dana Point? Orange county? Probably not. Some of the most beautiful parts of the country.
Thank you sir, yeah that's more what I was wondering about, the standard policy for companies regarding 14hr. And I was hoping it doesn't force me to take the 34hr restart. But I'm back driving now and the clock reset, haven't heard anything yet so I think I'm good to go
Ehhhhhh I have been all over California, it's okay but almost all those beautiful places you mentioned are not very nice anymore. Beverly Hills is now filled with bums on nearly every corner and most beaches are filled with nasty tents.
Maybe you are just pressured and anxious. just trust yourself that you can do it. driving requires patience and endurance, it is not the thing that when you are not happy to do it anymore then you stop, you have to encourage yourself to be more willing to do it even if it is not that very enjoyable. if not, maybe try to consider another career?
