There are lots of refrgerated warehouses out there here is the trick with them (if your on time and treat them with respect at the front desk they will find a dock for you trust me it has done worked for me plenty, even if your a few minutes late and your respectful and call ahead and be nice when you get there you still get put ahead of the guy ontime that is mean. Grocer warehouses just suck

I pull dry and refrigerated and notice no difference in load/unload times. I would actually rather pull a frozen load. It's rare when I am detained longer than hour but that's probably just my particular customers. As for the customers themselves, I just show up ON TIME and hand them my bills. No small talk nothing, if they feel like ruining my day because I didn't kiss their fat rear then that's a reflection of their miserable lives.

I used to run a dedicated delivering produce at a warehouse in PA a while back. My buddy and i would entice them with cheap gifts we would buy from our runs. Since we would pay them a visit every week we would be their buddies. They know that when they saw our truck they knew we would have something for that crew and the manager. So when the other trucks were there waiting to get loaded...we would park and be out in no time...most of the time. The other truckers would look at us like "WTF???" when we leave before them :biggrin_25517:

Sometimes I call them pretending to be my dispatcher asking WTH is the delay. It has worked.
