I agree I don't think it should be under DAC
But there is another Mercer thread under Motor Carriers with approx. 48 pages.

You could start a new Mercer thread where you want

There seems to be plenty of threads and I guess it was moved to the correct section, but I think to come in here.

Don't they have a password protected thread we could start? That would be nice, we could really feel important then. Plus drink all that Kool aid to our hearts content . Hahaha

Hey Allan M.....I just wanted to ask, if you don't mind. Why did you leave Miller? Do you find it better at Mercer? Is the money better at Mercer? These are the two companies I have ben looking into lately and have ben approved by both as an O/O. Any info would be great.......

I worked for Miller for 3.5 years in a system where they would usually offer you a half dozen loads to choose from when you emptied out. When they decided to install a new computerized dispatch system where the computer program would decide which load you would haul based on best fleet utilization not necessarily best revenue to the owner operator I had to leave. The rates per mile on tankers are higher but the trips are usually more time consuming with a lot of uncompensated time.
The first 3 hours are free at Miller and you almost never reload the same day so it's a struggle to make many miles at that higher rate. I've been away from Miller for over 2 years now so a lot has likely changed. If you we're going to lease on with them you live in a very good area.
Channelview is without a doubt the best terminal to run out of with Miller.
They are both good companies and you will make money either way. Good luck.
