Parked at the Nebraskaland in Lexington, Nebraska. Rolled 633 today. Hit some nasty stuff with hail, wind, and blinding rain on the North loop around KC. My wife said I have been lucky so far with all the storms popping today. The low is apparently spinning near North Platte so could be in for a rocky night. This time of year gets spooky out here.

I am still not 100% clear on the parking rules. I know for me, I am required to leave the rig at the terminal. I can't even stage it MT at the Polk City Love's when I am going to pick up close to my home. 1st company I have worked for that is that protective of their equipment. This may not be the rule in all locations. I just know what applies to me.

I had a Crete driver (who lived in WY) once tell me that the only 2 months that WY has never seen snow fly in it's history is July and August...which is good if you like snow...but a bad place to be if you hate it.

I have personally seen it snow on July 3rd, 1975 in Laramie wy.. turned all the green grass white for a day. And I have been caught in a snow squall on Snowy Range, in August, the mountain range 30 miles to the west of laramie, while fishing... now I was at 11,000 feet brook trout fishing. Mother nature is bi-polar.

We have to collect all that precious water, to feed it downstream to nebraska, to keep all the cattle fed.

I have personally seen it snow on 4/28/14. Too many times to count. After my 30 minute break I expect to see it some more. I don't know what ya'll call the hill with the Lincoln statue but it was iced over today.
