I'm at the W&B in Duncanville, Tx. They got the radiator fan working. The W&B in Tulsa did a half ### wiring job. So, he got that wired up correctly and is now troubleshooting the A/C.

Hmm sounds familiar. I'll admit though jct is sort of half the problem. They'd hold work orders till late in the day to the point of keeping w&b there till after 5 and half the time I never even had an empty bay to work on the problem. I did most the work out in the yard. So yeah when you're there everyday working past 5 it got old and things got rushed, though I'm not making excuses for the tech.

This is neither here or there, but mine was worked on at the very beginning of the day. It was around 0730. I think it was mainly a lack of attention to detail on the wiring.

As far as the A/C, I didn't have time to sit all day to have them troubleshoot it that day.

I've been to multiple W&B shops and no one was able to fix the over heat issue. To the Tulsa tech credit, he has that diagnosed and fixed in about half an hour. It was the thermostat (or whatever Carrier calls it). Just needs to pay closer attention to wiring things up.

APU update: The A/C line that was under the cab and runs into the main unit under the bunk had rubbed a hole into the hose. So, all the freon was lost. That hose is being replaced along with the dryer. Then a vacuum cycle to clean everything up then freon recharge. And after that it should be good to go.

This new Sapp Bros truck stop in Harrisonville MO is pretty good stop. Just did a 34 here and it's on the road to Walmart. Good shop and good food.
Nice to have a good place to park at a Walmart distribution entrance. They do washouts also. :)

Update 2: APU over heated during a test run. Further testing discovered that the radiator fan wasn't running as fast it was supposed to. So, it wasn't moving air fast enough to keep everything cool.

Now there is a new fan installed and started a new test run.

2015-2017 Freightliner Cascadias with a smattering of Peterbilt/KWs. And AFAIK, nothing brand new until they do their next truck purchase round.

By chance when do they that?,..whats average mileage on the 2015-17 models? According to recruiter they all carry 7yr 700000 mile warranty. Is that an accurate statement?
