When my neighbor told me a similar story there were many derogatory racial stereotypes involved.

I have to give him a little slack, he’s almost 80 and ghost white.

IMO, FWIW, I think that's a good move. It's not going to be perfect but once you learn the job and get into a routine it'll be a lot different, it doesn't happen overnight. If something isn't going right talk to your DM or FM or whatever they're called nowadays, don't let things fester to the point you want to quit, try to work it out. You've got a lot invested in a short amount of time and 3 people wanting to see you on a daily basis, give it a chance.

I've been working at a job where I despise the people I work with and the BS part of the job, (I like the job), for the past 10 years but the benefits of it, money, time off, healthcare, vacation, is what's best for my family and they mean more to me than me and they're happy so I stick with it.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one". Some might say that's stupid but I believe it and live by it.

Best of luck to you @Rugerfan , I really mean that.
