Any time I called early, I got "working on something, will let you know". After a few dozen times hearing that, I gave up trying...I got the hint that I wasn't in the cool kids club, and never would be.

It just seems weird to me. I guess because I’ve never had to do that. My last company I never had to call for a load, I was always had my next load waiting before I delivered my current one. Having to call someone two days ahead of time or get ####ty loads is kind of messed up. They know where we’re going and when, why can’t they have them all ready set up?

I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to this.

Romeoville doesn’t have overnight parking. 55 truckstop is within range. I’ve never been there longer than 2 hours to unload.

That’s only for ND/MN. We are not forced dispatch that’s why they do it that way. The other regions I just take what I get sent the day before I unload.

That 5 stop load is good. It’s about 2000 miles by time your empty.

RS, we all know that you wouldn’t settle for 2000 miles in the week and that’s about all you’d get with that load. SMH
