02 Int. 7400 Dt530e no start after install

950 should start. How are you measuring the pressure? Scanner or manual gauge?

 

Yes I'm aware they are body codes, just posting to post the information I'm going on.
But I know the ecm has to see a signal from the body to tell it to start. And it does crank just wont start.

No logged engine DTC's

 

I had a manual gauge on it at first and the numbers matched the icp so i just put the sensor back in, tried to start it with the sensor unplugged and it wouldn't light, thought it had a default mode to fall back on if it didnt see oil res pressure. but no dice.

 

If the injection pressure sensor is failing and reading high it will not start.
Can you plumb a gauge into the line from the HPOP to verify the pressure is correct.

 

yes, I verified the sensor is accurate yesterday afternoon with a manual hyd pressure gauge, read the same values as the icp.

 

Does this 466 have spin on fuel filters or the the cartridge type with a plastic cap over the filter?
Where are you checking the fuel pressure?

 

530e with a single spin on, fuel pressure port at top of the filter housing.
low pressure fuel is the only thing I can measure on the fuel side.
icp oil pressure measured at sensor hole on cover.

 

Is there a Schrader port on the cylinder head front left side or near the middle ?

 

sorry, no there's not one on the head, just have on at the bleeder port on the fuel filter housing.

 

I'm drawing a blank as well. Its cranking fast enough to start?
