Every truck is required to carry a box with at least 3(THREE) reflective triangles. That should be the first thing a driver does when on the shoulder, is put out the triangles to warn approaching traffic. Rarely do i see a truck on the shoulder with triangles out. Lazy drivers just waiting for a "Nuclear Lawsuit".

I see trucks Park on the shoulder when there's plenty of other parking available. Just lazy.

That was the only time I slept on the shoulder Waiting for a Tow.

I don't condone it but feel its also a drivers responsibility to stay on the road!

Anymore, it's not the least bit unusual to see a parked truck on the shoulder of the highway with the driver just sitting there eating or talking on the phone. Sure, I will be on the phone if I'm broke down but not before I get the triangles out. But I think most of these guys are just taking their 30 minute break and they will be in it deep if any vehicle hits them when they aren't supposed to be parked there. Too bad that law enforcement doesn't seem to care or they wouldn't keep driving by these guys.

I spend at least a 1/4 of my time moving over to the left lane because of a truck sitting on the shoulder. It has become an epidemic.

Trucks sitting on the shoulder with or without their flashers on, but hardly any of them have their triangles out.
