Maybe it’s just the clutch or clutch plates coming apart. Any broken springs sitting inside bottom inspection plate?Hopefully just the clutch.

I just dropped it at the shop, and told them to figure it out. It was starting to make noise in the all gears mainly while under load. It’s doubtful, but I’d really hope it’s the clutch since it’s only a year old. Be nice to luck out, and get a free replacement versus a new transmission.

This was the worst it got before I had to put it in 7th over to get the rest of the way home. Was afraid something would seize up if I kept running in 8th.

You stayed off the hook, at least. Don’t need more $$$ spent.

Yeah that was my fear. It started getting worse about 60 miles from home heading the wrong way. I decided to turn around to head back to the house, and it got so bad I wasn’t sure I’d make it that far.

The fact that when it got worse it started to do it in all the gears... wouldn't that point towards a bearing failure? @wore out ? That's what the shifter noise sounds like to me, is transmitted bearing noise.

That's what it sounds like to me too. From the sounds of it I would say you be money ahead on a re man verses fixing yours.

A reman is what’s going in. Should be done tomorrow morning. They’re also putting in a new rear main seal since mine leaks pretty bad.
