15 yrs. experience...haven't driven for 1 1/2 yrs. Need some advice

I was in the same boat you were. I drove for a few years and came home got married and started a family. Well I really never wanted to quit driving in the first place but i was in LOVE ( and still am ) but anyway. Well five years ago I wanted to get back out here, but I had been off the road for over 3 years. Everyone told me the same thing had to have experience within the last yr or three yrs. Well i talked to several small companies, which i would rather work for anyway, i went to interview with the owner of the one i really wanted to work for he took me for a test drive to see if i knew what i was doing and we went about 5 miles and he offered me a job. I would try some of these smaller companies or independents. Keep looking you will find someone that will want your experience. Best of Luck
