I had a chance to think about this over night. Let me start at the beginning.

I pulled the main switch panel open to have a look behind it. I believe it has been some time since these lights had been working.

#1. The AUX CL switch had a red wire going into the bottom of the switch and a red wire leaving the switch. The red that came into the lower part of the switch was spliced to another red wire that was going to a switch that had been removed from the panel and was laying behind it. This wire was at the top of that switch. I also found a wire that had broken off of the upper part of that switch. What I'll need to do is figure out why this switch was laying behind the panel, and also where it goes. I also noticed that the marker lights that used to be on the air claeners were rmoved and those wires (red and white) were clipped off at the entrance to the cab. I wonder if the two switch were there for....................one switch for the cab markers and the other for the air cleaner wires?

It all depends on who or how many people wired the lights. The chicken lights on my 00 379 on one side white is ground and the other side black is ground. My breather lights are wired to the same switch as my chicken lights. My switches go fro left to right: heads, clearance, aux clearance, fuel l/r, back of cab lights, then load lamps.

Got it figured out. found the one lug that had power coming from the CL switch. Put that to the bottom of the AUX CL. Found a red that was spliced to two blacks. these would go to each side of the cab. They would then go to the lights:) So, got it all buttoned up and got things functioning.

A conduity test light can be a handy tool besides a 12 volt tester.
