Well the shop people can never figure it out. I’ve had one shot person be able to figure it out. Everyone else wants to sell you a new transmission or say that you’re not draining your air correctly all kinds of crap. It’s an ET in this an EG in that no it’s the gearshift stalk!
Love how people always think its the same fix for every issue. Learn to diagnose instead of just throwing parts at it because the guy before you said to.
Don’t throw parts. I diagnose just don’t need a computer to tell me how to fix it. Use common sense study problems, possible causes, possible solutions. So far. I have fixed every issue with my truck that the dealership pros couldn’t figure out because they rely on computer computers to tell them what’s wrong real mechanics know how to study the problem and figure it out on their own!
Exactly how we're supposed to do it. Just FYI my post was not in regards to you. Stick around this site a while and you'll see what I meant with my original comment. Someone will join the site, revive a decade+ old thread asking what fixed the original poster's truck because their truck is doing something similar. It just seems like they want someone to tell them replace X part because it's always this one part that fails and nothing else can ever cause that same issue.
