So the company bought a bunch of 2020’s back in March. My truck is not the only one doing this.

the radio will occasionally just freeze in whatever mode it’s in at that time. If you’re listening to an FM station or cd or whatever, at whatever volume, then pull up to weigh station - you can’t turn the volume down, you can’t even turn the radio off. Turn the key off the ignition, and the lights are still on on the radio. It will do this randomly. Some times daily, sometimes once a week. The only thing I know to do is to stop and pull the cb/radio fuse.

Also, I have a delay in some of my switches. It’s about a quarter to half second delay in my headlights. And my cruise resume sometimes as well. cant help but think these are related to the radio issue.

I’ve talked to multiple drivers that are having the same issue. The shop is aware of it. Took it to the Kenworth dealership a couple of months ago and they had no clue Asked the shop about it last week, and they still don’t have a fix.

    Somebody’s gotta know something.

There is a recently released update for the smartnav system. It should be able to install through the device update app from the homescreen.

Switches will need the modules flashed at the dealer.

I know this old but I googled this and it brought me here. New job, new 2020 t680. My switches are fine. My issue is the radio freezing. I’ve been cutting the power off the battery to fix this and it seems to work but then my AC doesn’t work unless I let it sit for like 10 mins after cutting the power to battery to on position. Where are the fuses? Or better yet, you know where I can find a diagram so i can know what fuse is which.

Fuse for the radio is by your left foot. Locations are labeled inside the cover. I have to pull mine every now and then because I have the same issue and, as is typical, if the problem is not acting up when the truck is at the dealer, they won't do anything.

I ended up finding the radio fuse and one quick pop out and pop in and you’re back rolling. Fuse box is located to the left of your feet. The door to the box tells you what fuse

Get ready to do that on a regular basis. It's not a permanent fix.

You can unplug S-can cable or get to dealership for radio software update or go to pana pacific website, support center and go to downloads and go to DEA5xxx software update.
