Whenever my truck is parked for a couple of days I come back to empty air tanks and when I start it up it will fill up primary tank fairly quick and sometimes it won't start filling up 2ndary tank for several minutes, especially when its cold (in single digits) is there crossover that might be frozen over or what should I look at to diagnose the problem.
Check valve between the tanks to preserve brake air in primary tank is gummed up or partially frozen .. ps it always fills the primary to 90 or so before valve opens to let air into secondary tank
I do drain tanks and there's no moisture that I've noticed ever. Wondering if there's way to pour some of that brake line conditioner into the tanks.
Some guys remove the line off the compressor and fill it up .. I haven't needed to do that so can't say how hard or easy that is
If it has an ADIS air dryer, secondary does not build until primary is around 106 PSI. Normal operation for that dryer.
