Some states keep a record of tickets much longer then three years. WA state keeps a record on all CDL holders for 55 years.

Overall I am counting 3 preventables and 2-3 tickets, and one of the preventables is on one of the 5 career ending sins. That is a hard sell for any employer now days.

All that in a 2 year period. I'd rather not share the road with you.

Not trying to play the "Devil's Advocate" here, and I'm no @Chinatown .... but Florida is VERY hard to find jobs out of, anyway. Have you tried Cypress? A couple others I believe hire down your way, may not pay great, but to get you "back on your feet" would be TransAm, Western Express (can you do flatbed?) and that's a maybe for FL, and of course the good ole' recon company, Carolina Cargo.

Sorry about how #### went for ya. Keep us updated.

It's best to submit job applications before any phone calls. It's too easy for companies to say "NO" over the phone, but if you submit the application, then call and say "I'm checking on my job application", your chances of being hired improve. Some companies on Craigslist cut some slack; may have to leave phone messages and lots of them.

Me neither; got thrown into it a few winters ago when asphalt wasn't flowing too well. I hauled for a "yayhoo" company .. and was told that the precast on the tripods were "secured." Well, they often weren't. I learned by reading here, and the hard way. In all honesty, if you sign ON with a flatbed company, they usually won't even let you out the DOOR with their sweet Pete's or whatever, without proper training.
Western is a second chance company, and I've known a few good men to make a decent dollar there, and go on to bigger and better things.
You still got it in you; go try for the sky~!!!!

HA ~!! China beat me to it. I don't know all the stuff HE does, but I sure second the fact that Western Express wouldn't be a bad new stomping ground!!
