40,000 A year for a new driver?? Is this a lie??

some companys pay the same regardless of exp--(kinda think it is more of a canadian thing)---not sure if i agree with that or not
but if i had only made 40.000 gross my first year--i would have gotten out of the truck---and i am not even in it for the money---
to many low paying companys
