    That's flawed math.
Show me a truck driver who makes $25.00 an hr for ALL hours on the job.

Simple math. 40 hour per week.....50 weeks per year......$25.00 per hour. $50,000 per year. I was not talking about TRUCK DRIVERS AT ALL! I was referencing the post that said In N Out burger flippers make $50,000.00 per year. So.......show me the In N Out burger flippers job that pays $50,000.00 per year. You certainly read a lot of invisible words in my simple one sentence post.

    $12.50 per hr x's 80 hrs a week is also $50,000 a year,
Not to mention ''overtime'' which would cut the actual hr's worked to make the 50.
    This is a truck site.

Do burger flippers get paid overtime?
I think they get about 15 bucks an hour these days in the rockies. I am guessing they get at least that in the two in colorado springs.
60 hrs a week would indeed work out the 50k a year.

I highly doubt that ANY fast food worker, short of management, EVER puts in 60 hour work weeks. I would hazard a guess that the vast majority do not even get scheduled for 40 hour work weeks. Most entry level employers keep the scheduled hours below the threshold where they are required to provide benefits. I'm sure there are some exceptions. My original question still applies. Show me evidence that In N Out burger flippers make $50,000 per year.

But very few of fast food workers get 40 hrs a week. Most are on a part time schedule that keeps the amount of money paid for any benefits down.

    Dockbumper Thanks this.

There is more than 1 fast food joint. 20 hrs each at 3 of them is still 60 hrs.
Also there are many reasons to only work 10 to 20 hrs a week. and the fast food industry caters to that demographic.
If you can count, and lock and unlock you can be a manager in as little as a month or less in some cases.
Work hard and franchises are available.
