Thanks, I’m well aware of the discrimination laws based on age. That doesn’t stop it from happening and it’s near impossible to prove. I’m not trying to start an issue like that but was just curious of others opinions.

I'm on your side being 66 almost 67. Just sharing info that maybe others don't have. Good Luck in your endeavors

In the last month I’ve applied for 5 different Wal-Mart OTR regional driver jobs, most of them in the northern US. I’m happy to relocate to any location, extremely flexible. On two of the applications it has been almost 6 weeks since I applied and haven’t heard anything. When I go online it only says “application under review”. Is it possible they are over-looking me because of my age?

I just turned 66 last 2 weeks and I applied since February 1st. I just got a call on the 16th of this month. I am going through all the background checks and all that stuff right now. Hopefully I will get an Onboarding date next week.
So I don't think it has anything to do with how old you are.
I am so happy right now.
