Interstate trucks are 70 day and night. Interstate cars still 80. 2 lane, not sure tbh.

Because the majority of vehicles at any moment in the country are traveling under 65mph. The vehicles traveling 70+ are generally on divided highways significantly minimizing any kind of accident involving oncoming traffic. High speed accidents are also more likely to be fatal.misterG, stillwurkin and Muddydog79 Thank this.

Wonder what percentage of accidents are caused by immigrants?

Get over yourself. My truck is not governed, it's owned by me and it won't be governed until forced by the gov't. I'm safe and occasionally, believe it or not, I pass or get away from something at 75 or so. My tires are always checked, equipment maintained and I know what I'm doing. Not something I can say for most megalosers that don't think it's their job or they're too worried about what their dispatcher might do if they think for themselves.
Oh, and I'm never anywhere near 80k, by choice, and that matters. If I were I'd go slower. Light loads pay the same as heavy ones. I have no idea why people would haul them unless they pay. Oh yeah, their dispatcher put them on that heavy crap.cdavis188, polo king 92, New/OldSchoolTrucker89 and 3 others Thank this. -
The difference in stopping @65 vs 75 is like mms to the foot. Cry about something that matters.
