8/2 split question

i went on duty earlier today and did 8 hours in sleeper to stop 14 hour clock. If I run for say 4 more hours and #### down tonight and do another 8 hour sleeper does my 14 and 11 hour clock start over?

 

You still need to make up the 2 hours from last night to get a reset.

 

So if I drive for couple hours then do two off. That gives me time left. Then say I have 4 hours drive time on clock an drive 3 hours the. Do 8 in sleeper. That will reset 14 and 11? Yeah

 

Yup, if you make up those two hours then resume driving for another 4, you are good to do another 8 in the sleeper for a reset.

Not if he does another 8, the original 8 would act as the 2

 

It would restart from the end of the first 8 hour sleeper

You would only have available what you didn’t use before your second 8 hr break out of your 14.

 

Unless you are an owner op and absolutely need to get a bit further to make a delivery it is rarely in your favor to do a split break.
