And you're educated? No wonder this country has gone to hell. The communist brainwashing machine is turning products like you loose in the world when you really should be instututionalized.

All this sideshow malarkey doesn't help you hide = now either quote me or admit you lied = this isn't rocket science and is something even Jethro Bodine could handle = quote me or admit you lied.

It's the way the idiots drive that gets them injured or killed, NOT the truck driver. These people have the mindset that if they are behind a truck, they're being held up, so they do dangerous things to get around the truck, and some get injured or killed. Funny thing is, all the hurrying they do to get around us, they might get there 15 seconds faster. Is your life worth 15 seconds?
The other part is, these people are brainwashed, they've seen too many lawyer commercials, "If you get in a wreck with a semi, we'll get you money." What these idiots don't realize is most don't have enough insurance to cover that damages to a loaded tractor trailer, so they'll lose everything they have when it's their fault and the trucker hauls them to court for causing the accident. -
Hold your calls, we have a winner!!!!!!

Antilock brakes have been determined to reduce accidents = don't be real surprised if its determined video screens on the back of trucks start appearing if it's determined they do the same as antilock brakes.
This isn't about our personal opinions = its about statistics neither you or I control. -
I'm wondering what happens when the equipment malfunctions. Say a frozen screen, or a screen that isn't even on. If someone passes and gets in an accident because they were trusting somebody else's equipment, who then is to blame?
But... If the truck wasn't equipped and the passing driver had to rely on their own judgement, then the truck driver/company would be MUCH less likely to be at fault (I know, the lawyers will try anyway).
It seem's like installing the screens would open up drivers/companies to lawsuits that were previously hard to bring.pete1 Thanks this. -
Both of you should be quiet now.
Rockin&Rollin and d o g Thank this. -
